The two horizontally working form-fill-seal machines will be put into operation of the cheese manufacturer in brandnew production halls. The challenge for SN was enormous: It was required to realize the planning, construction, assembly and delivery of the two high-performance machines within the narrow time frame of less than 6 months. The customer places high demands on the two „newcomers“: The duplex machines fill grated cheese into flat pouches with zipper and work with a capacity of up to 120 pouches per minute. In addition, there are various features, such as the special nitrogen-gassing device to reduce the residual oxygen to less than 1 percent and a state-of-the-art sealing technology, which is also suitable for the new, environmentally friendly monomaterial films. At the factory acceptance test, the machines ran both with the new monomaterial and with standard films at the guaranteed speed and without any complaints.
"First of all the time factor was a challenge for this big order," says SN Sales Manager Andreas Waldscheck. But as one of the global market leaders in the field of pouch-packaging machines for grated cheese, it was a a firm promise of SN to deliver on time and ”in full”. Thanks to the precise and highly motivated team, SN was once again able to perform and to convince by its engineering and production experience.
Nearly 1000 hours were spent by the 15 employees - from sales to construction, software programming, electrical engineering and assembly - to realize this project. "We have created a strong and experienced project team, which worked with an active project management on a consistent implementation," confirms Sales and Marketing Director Oliver Betzer the performance of the SN team.
Thanks to close cooperation and uncomplicated coordination with the customer at all times, SN Maschinenbau was able to meet the deadline for this order and once again meet all quality requirements.
