A highly motivated team of around 25 experts supervises the new site location. In the medium term, up to 50 machines per year are to be produced in this production concept and will be sold worldwide.

A central component of the expansion is the construction of a new assembly line, which is especially designed for the production of small series. The introduction of a serial production process sets new standards in the flexibility and efficiency of production in special machine manufacturing. The new assembly hall has ergonomically optimized workstations and an indoor crane that enables a smooth production process across several stations and production stages. This innovative concept promises a double-digit increase in efficiency, shorter delivery times and greater price stability for international customers on six continents.

On the horizontally operating pouch making machine, the pouches are made from the film roll and the spout is sealed in the same pass. The finished spout pouches are then automatically inserted into standard rail systems and stored on a transport trolley. Each rail can then be easily and ergonomically inserted into the existing pouch filling machines. Compared to pre-made pouches, this makes handling much easier and allows staff to process a larger number of pouches more efficiently, for example because there is no need for time-consuming separation of the rails. The low-maintenance machine works highly efficiently and, thanks to its compact design, can also be used in cramped production environments. This means that it can be set up flexibly either directly on the filling machine or independently in a separate room.

Insourcing pouch making is effortless as the machine is extremely user-friendly. It can usually be operated with existing staff. Among other things, changing rolls requires minimal setup effort and must be carried out a maximum of once per shift. The SPM 50 produces up to 4,200 pouches per hour and achieves continuous production of over 30,000 spout pouches per 8-hour workshift with just one roll of film. This corresponds to an annual production volume of 7 million spout pouches in one shift up to 21 million in three shifts.

You can expect the highest quality packaging machines for various packaging types, such as stand-up pouches, spout pouches, gusseted pouches and flat pouches. Of course, we will also show solutions for recyclable pouch packaging, such as monomaterials, in cooperation with the film industry. But that was by no means all!
In addition to the machines on our booth, we will present another packaging machine at SIEMENS' booth (D27 in Hall 6) and an iTRAK module at Rockwell Automation's booth (C40 in Hall 6).

Already in September the FACHPACK (Nuremberg), the PPMA Total (Birmingham) and the SeedMeetsTechnology (Zwaagdijk-Oost) will take place simultaneously from 27.09.2022. On three days each, we will show our FME series in a wide variety of designs at these exhibitions.
In Nuremberg, at the important leading European trade fair FACHPACK, which has been held since 1979, our FME 20 will have its WORLD PREMIERE! The duplex pouch-packaging machine will be seen in action in combination with a 14-head weigher.
The fact that the FME 50 can also be used in the seed sector will be demonstrated by us in the Netherlands at SMT, the annual trade show for innovative seed technology held near the Ijsselmeer.

We showed the interested audience our HFFS pouch packaging machine FME 50 - this time in combination with a 14-head precision scale - for filling dry products into stand-up pouches with zipper. A special feature of the system is its extremely low installation height: even in smaller halls with a ceiling height from 3.5 meters, this combination can be used.

The impressive machine technology as well as the modern designed booth proved to be a real crowd puller in hall 8 during the four days of the event. We were very pleased with the result of more than 160 qualified visitor reports. Once again, we were confirmed in our ability to reach completely new target groups with the machine concept of the FME 50.
