Drinktec, the world-leading trade fair for the drinks and liquid food industry, took place in Munich from October 16th to 20th; SN attended for the first time in its history, and was bound to cause a stir with the FBM 071. The LIQUID POUCH technology for filling pouches with hot liquids drew specialists from the food and drinks industry to the exhibition stand. Together with co-exhibitor Wellmann Engineering, who provided the metering device including storage for soft drinks at over 90 degrees Celsius, in total over 200 conversations were held with potential customers from nearly 70 countries.
SN Maschinenbau made its now-customary appearance at FachPack in Nuremberg from October 24th to 26th, 2013. The FM 01 stand exhibit produced upright pouches of sweets, which were very popular with visitors from 25 different countries. Interest among specialist visitors to the stand was significantly higher than in previous years. FachPack’s increasing global importance was reflected in the noticeably higher quality of the discussions held and in the large number of new customer contacts from a very wide range of sectors.
The LMS 120, a form, fill and seal machine (FFS), was the star attraction on the trade fair stand together with our American represantation PPi at PackExpo in Las Vegas from September 23rd to 25th (www.ppitechnologies.com). Our employees demonstrated at this show with overall more than 27,000 visitors over three days the reliability and innovative technology of the latest machines developed by SN German Pouch-Pack Technology.
Alongside the follow-up from the three successful events, we are starting preparations for the world’s largest packaging trade fair, Interpack, which will take place in Düsseldorf from May 8th to 14th, 2014. SN German Pouch-Pack Technology will be exhibiting in Hall 8a, with a brand new stand design. We look forward to seeing you there.
